From automation design and installations to a supplier of comprehensive system solutions

Mipro Group has been involved in the automation business for various industries since 1980. When established the company specialised in the process industry and water supply automation.

In the early 1990s, the company’s course of operation changed when it started to focus on the development of safety related systems, especially for railway traffic management. As a result, the first level crossing control system was delivered in 1995 for the public railways. For the past two decades the group has been a pioneer of safety related railway systems in Finland.

Water supply automation has remained among Mipro Group’s core business segments, and today the company is one of the leading water and energy management system suppliers in Finland.

The company was established in autumn 1980, and its business was based on the principle of a department store of automation.

In the 2000's, the company focused on the development of its own products and entrepreneurship.

In 1992, the company decided to focus on two business lines.

The challenge of the 2010's is to make the activities international on all levels.

Our most recent references are strong evidence of our competitiveness and know-how in comprehensive technically demanding (SIL4) projects.
- Signalling system delivery for the Kokkola-Ylivieska double track section (2013-2017)
- Western Finland's traffic control modernisation (TAKO 2014-2019)
- Signalling system delivery contract for West Metro (Länsimetro) in Helsinki (2015-2017) - an opening for a new business segment.
